Is it safe to have hemorrhoids removed during pregnancy?

If so, what type of removal procedure is most commonly used?
This is something I have had since 2005. With the birth of my daughter in January it swelled and caused horrible pain! It has shrunken some, but still hurts and bothers me. I am now pregnant again and do not want to have to go through the horrible pain again with having it during the birth and after. I plan to ask my doc about it at my ob visit, but just wondered if anyone had ever had it done. Isn’t there a rubberbanding type procedure that could be done?

Can a hemorrhoid be an early pregnancy sign?

I’m trying to concieve and am looking for early pregnancy signs. Besides fatigue and abdominal sensations, this is the only other symptom I’ve noticed. If implantation was successful, today would be the start of week 3. Any insight?
